Management Bios:

Kevin Ong
(Director for Business Development and Innovation)

Founder of Chewy Junior. Kevin was sponsored by Hilton International Hotel to sturdy Culinary at SHATEC and work for 3 years as a chef. After which he has work as Restaurant and Catering Manager. He last held the role of Product Application Manager in MNC, heading an Innovation Centre to create recipes for key customers. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hon) in Business Management from The University of Bradford.

Setting up Chewy Junior is his 3rd attempt in business and despite fallen hard and loss all his saving from the last 2 food business venture, he has never given up hope on his dream and passions for business. With every business failure, he pick himself up, go back to work and save enough to go for it again. At 43, with a supportive wife and two young kids to care for, he left his promising career again and open Chewy Junior at Tanjong Pagar in Apr 2007, which saw long queue that waited for hours to get the chewy puff.

Danny Tan
(Director for Sales & Operations)

Danny Tan last held senior manager position in MNC, managing more than 60 government institutions and commercial catering outlets for more than 15 years. Services that he rendered to his key customers includes kitchen design and set-up as well as consultancy on operation management efficiency. He also has 10 years experience in managing airline in-flight catering services. He has managed overseas operations, including China for 3 years. Armed with the above experiences in operations management, he is currently overseeing the sales and operations of all Chewy Junior's outlets as well as assisting the local and overseas franchisee's outlets.
